In it I highlight three new businesses or services in Northwest Arkansas that I think you will enjoy with details about the owner(s), location, offerings and opening details. In case you missed a post or just need more detail on a business or service, I am rounding up all of the November and December businesses below (with links to their Instagram accounts). I will continuing the roundups every one to two months and will include a few bonus new items just for you! Keep reading to learn about all of these fantastic new businesses.

New in Fayetteville

Mango’s NWA
  • Mango’s NWA – A favorite Mexican spot in Fayetteville just opened a second location on the east side of town near the intersection of Mission and Crossover. The menu is the same as the South Fayetteville location featuring recipes from the owner’s grandmother and mother from Michoacán, Mexico.
  • The Babe Co – A new children’s store just opened at 3140 N. Market. It is owned by Jamie, a single mother to three-year-old Avery, who is the inspiration behind the shop. Jamie started out making bows as a hobby and it quickly took off and has flourished into a storefront.
  • Sweet Scoops Blender Bar – A second location of this Farmington favorite just opened in food truck form in 514 Filling Station off MLK. They offer traditional scoops of ice cream, along with custom infused ice cream, Belgian bites, bubble waffle wraps, adult ice cream (liquor infused) and macaroons.
  • (West Fork) Shire Post Mint – This small family-run coining operation specializes in licensed fantasy coinage. Their work even caught the eye of George R.R. Martin, who had coins made for his book series, A Song of Ice and Fire. They have grown to work with properties such as Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, Conan the Barbarian and more.
  • Terra Studios – The home of the bluebird of happiness is back open! They have an expanded space featuring the work of 120+ regional artists. They have an art gallery and art park with artist demonstrations most weekends. Admission is free and donations are welcome.
  • Sleet City Art and Supplies – A new shop just opened up specializing in art supplies and gifts. The shop is owned by local artist Olivia Trimble and is located in front of Presley Paige on College. You will find original art from Olivia, supplies, gifts and much more.
  • Raised and Glazed Donuts – A new donut food truck just opened in Fayetteville. They specialize in donuts and fried pies and are often located at Joyce and Crossover if they are not at an event. The owners are from Montana where they owned a bakery/deli before moving to NWA.
  • Simple + Sweet Creamery – An online ice cream delivery business just opened a food truck on College Avenue. They specializes in artisanal small-batch ice cream and the majority of the profits are donated to the NWA Food Bank. It is owned by a current University of Arkansas student. Although the truck is closed for the winter, they still offer delivery and catering!
  • Bondi Bowls – A new açai bowl food truck just setup shop at Yacht Club on College. The bowls are vegan and organic and the truck is named after the iconic Bondi Beach located in Sydney, Australia. They have other locations in Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas.
  • Isabella’s Italian – A new Italian fine dining restaurant is coming this month to Midtown in the space former occupied by TJ’s Sandwich Shop. The restaurant is owned by the same family who own TJ’s and Mermaid’s.
  • Swoon Juice Bar – Swoon just opened at second location at Fayetteville Athletic Club. They specialize in fresh juice, smoothies, salads, sandwiches and snacks that are made to order.
  • Urban Cellar Winery – A new locally owned, female operated winery and wine bar just opened in Fayetteville on Zion Rd. They specialize in wine making classes, hosting private events and custom wine labels. All of the wine is locally made on site.
  • The Diva Dive Pole and Aerial Fitness Studio – This favorite Springdale studio just moved to Fayetteville next to Snack Lab. They offer pole fitness, aerial hammocks, pilates, ballet, yoga and more.

New in Bentonville

Pho 85 Noodle House
  • Pho 85 Noodle House – This classic spot in Bentonville is back! The family owned-operated business recently returned with a new location at 1140 N Walton. They are best known for pho but also have vermicelli noodle salads, rice and noodle dishes and more.
  • Slice Pizza NWA – A brand new pizza food truck just opened next to Bentonville Dive serving NY style pizza and other Italian family favorites. It is owned and operated by Jenny and Dave Marrs of HGTV’s Fixer to Fab along with their brother-in-law Robert Nelson. Their current offerings are pizza by the slice (starting at $4), garlic knots and wings.
  • Sandi Sue’s Gluten Free Bakery – A brand new gluten free bakery just opened in 8th Street Market specializing in pies, breads, pizza dough and custom orders. They have both sweet and savory gluten free dishes.
  • (Centerton) Williams Famous Fried Chicken– A Bentonville favorite soul food spot is now open in food truck form in Centerton on Centerton Boulevard. They continue to specialize in southern comfort food including fried chicken, greens, fried okra and more.
  • Pho Palace NWA – A new pho spot just opened up offering Vietnamese and Chinese dishes including spring rolls, pho, fried rice, pan fried noodles and much more. Open every day except Monday.
  • Kirpa Indian Cuisine – A new restaurant focused on North Indian Food just opened on 14th St. in the same shopping center as Vivace. They have samosa chaat, tikka masala, traditional Indian desserts and more.
  • (Avoca) The Smackin’ Shack – A new food truck just opened up in Avoca specializing in burgers and hand cut fries. They also travel to special events around the area. They are typically open for lunch, just check their Facebook page linked above for the latest location.
  • (Centerton) Centerton Food Trucks Park – A new food truck park is setting up shop on Centerton Blvd. They will have 6 food trucks including Mexican, Colombian, Salvadorian and Indian Food. The should be open in February or March!
  • Buddy Pegs – A new bike shop just opened up in 8th Street Market featuring bikes for the whole family. They provide everything you need to be an adventure family including bikes, apparel, bicycle classes, clubs and camps for kids starting at 2 years old.

New in Rogers/Lowell/Cave Springs

Saffron Indian Cuisine
  • Saffron Indian Cuisine – This Indian food favorite just moved from Fayetteville to Rogers in Village Parkway and they are now open. They serve authentic Indian and Middle Eastern food with a huge menu featuring everything from biryanis to curries.
  • 52 Kilo – A new steak and mezcal spot is coming to Pinnacle Hills. The owners of Prelude Breakfast Bar are behind this new concept featuring Waygu steak, mezcal and other craft cocktails. They should be open in mid to late January at 3000 S Pinnacle Hills Parkway.
  • Weathered Goods – A favorite furniture maker and home goods shop is back with a new storefront in Lowell. You may remember them from their old store front on College where Freckled Hen Home is now. They specialize in handcrafted furniture and home decor.
  • Hart and Jay – An existing boutique in Rogers recently updated their name from Flanerie Boutique to Hart and Jay. They are still a women’s boutique committed to finding one-of-a-kind, affordable items that bring out the best in every woman.
  • Pinky Swear NWA – A new concept from Chef Jason Paul Roth and Danielle Ribauldo (owners of Heirloom) is coming soon to Downtown Rogers. This will be a sister concept within walking distance to Heirloom and will be a hi-fi wine bar. They will focus on natural and growers wines, an approachable but elevated food program and a vintage hi-fi stereo that places vinyl. It will be open sometime this year.

New in Springdale/Johnson

Renzo’s Italian
  • All American Steakhouse – A new steakhouse just opened up in Springdale. They specialize in aged steaks but offer a little bit of everything. All menu items are made to order and they also have high definition TVs and large projection screen TVs for game watching! They are open now on Sunset,
  • Renzo’s Italian – This Fayetteville favorite Italian spot is opening a second location in Springdale. They specialize in 2nd generation Immigrant-style Italian food and steaks in a New York tradition. The new location will be on Sunset and should be open by the end of the year.
