Your Ultimate Guide to Rogers Breakfast and Brunch

It’s time for part 3 of my best brunch in NWA series, did you miss parts 1 and 2 with Bentonville and Fayetteville brunch favorites? Find the Bentonville roundup here and Fayetteville here. This time we are focused on the best breakfast and brunch in Rogers! From Downtown coffee shops to mediterranean-inspired brunch in Pinnacle you are guaranteed to find something you love.

This list is in no particular order and I have included information on the vibe (so you know what to wear), type of food, price range, top three menu recommendations, unique offerings, food allergy/sensitivity accommodations and insider tips to make the most of your experience.

Onyx Coffee Lab

Onyx Pastry
  • Type of food: Coffee Shop Food with a Twist
  • Vibe: Casual (but usually very busy)
  • Price: Affordable, main dishes range from $7-8.50
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Impossible Tacos, Everything Croissant, Charred Pimento Sandwich
  • Unique Offering: Like the other Onyx locations, the interior of this spot is beautiful and it is the largest Onyx location where you can watch them working in the roastery and find all of the merchandise and coffee that they have available. Although the brunch menu is less robust, this is where you will find the full line of pastries from Doughp! including their seasonal croissants like apple butter and other favorites like the homemade pop tarts.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Slightly accommodating but not called out on the menu, the impossible tacos are vegan (and I think gluten free) and DELICIOUS, the other items are a bit harder to gauge.
  • Insider Tip: If I’ve said it before, I will say it again, GO EARLY. Even though this spot is larger, it is always busy and parking is a challenge with the construction downtown, after brunch head down the road to Lake Atalanta to explore.

Java Dudes Coffee Company

Java Dudes Nutella Toast
  • Type of food: Elevated Coffee Shop
  • Vibe: Casual
  • Price: Affordable, main items range from $5-$10
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Avocado Toast, Peanut Butter and Banana Toast, Quiche
  • Unique Offering: This is one of the only spots in Downtown Rogers where you can get a mimosa for Sunday brunch, plus it is situated right on the Razorback Greenway so it’s perfect for a pre or post ride fuel up.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Very accommodating, just ask, they can remove cheese from many items and have multiple alternative milks. I think they have a gluten free bread option but I’m not 100% sure.
  • Insider Tip: After you are done, hope on the greenway for a ride downtown or throw axes next door at Ozark Axe House

Neighbor’s Mill Bakery & Cafe

Neighbor’s Mill Cherry Kolaches
  • Type of food: Bakery
  • Vibe: Casual
  • Price: Affordable, many items are under $10
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Cinnamon Rolls, Chipotle Sausage Breakfast Sandwich, Toast & Spread
  • Unique Offering: You will not find a better bread selection in Rogers than Neighbor’s Mill. I have never had a bad bread item there, literally EVERYTHING is good from the bakery.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Not accommodating unfortunately, you could probably customize a few bowls for dairy free and maybe some toast options for vegan but not gluten free
  • Insider Tip: Take a loaf of bread home with you, you won’t regret it.

Rick’s Bakery

Rick’s Bakery Donuts
  • Type of food: Bakery
  • Vibe: Casual
  • Price: Affordable, most items are under $10
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Sausage Roll, Donut, Sticky Bun
  • Unique Offering: This is probably the largest bakery selection in the area where you will find unique creations like turnovers, cream puffs and much more with TONS of flavor options to choose from
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Not very accommodating for dairy free or vegan BUT they do have some gluten free muffin options
  • Insider Tip: This is a great spot to take the kids on a casual weekend day to stock up on tons of goodies, get ready for the sugar overload though!

Crabby’s Seafood Grill

Crabby’s Benedict and Chicken & Waffles
  • Type of food: Primarily Seafood
  • Vibe: Casual to Nice, you will see people dressed both ways but leans a little more nice
  • Price: Expensive, main items are from $11-16
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Grilled Tuna Tacos, Razorback Omelette, Chesapeake Benedict
  • Unique Offering: This is the only spot in town with seafood brunch options and is the nicest spot in town, great for celebrations.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Definitely accommodating for gluten free as it is clearly marked on the menu, I think many items could be made dairy free but vegan would be difficult outside of a salad
  • Insider Tip: Sit on the patio on a nice day, they usually have live music and it’s dog-friendly!

Abby’s Sweets NWA

Abby’s Sweets Kunafah
  • Type of food: Mediterranean brunch
  • Vibe: Casual
  • Price: Affordable, most items are under $10
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Kunafah, Baklava, Harresa
  • Unique Offering: This is the only spot in town with Mediterranean breakfast and especially unique sweet treats that you will not find anywhere else. The owner is from Syria so the treats are authentic and completely unique.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Relatively accommodating for dairy free/vegan, I asked the owner and she said a ton of options like baklava, mamoul and Turkish Delight are dairy free, not sure on the honey piece for vegans though so ask! They also have some salad options for gluten free.
  • Insider Tip: Try the Mediterranean Breakfast for a sampler style plate.

Wesner’s Grill

Wesner’s Breakfast (Photo Credit: @numberonemountiefan0183 on Instagram)
  • Type of food: Classic American Diner Breakfast
  • Vibe: Casual
  • Price: Affordable, most items are $7-10
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Pancakes, The “Usual” Omelet, Downtowner
  • Unique Offering: This classic spot is the oldest restaurant in Benton County.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Unfortunately like most American diner food it is not very accommodating for vegan or gluten free, dairy free could be accommodated with many of the plates, just ask.
  • Insider Tip: If you can, go Monday thru Friday when they have breakfast and lunch specials!

Mirabella’s Table

Mirabella’s Table Brunch Spread
  • Type of food: Italian-style small plate brunch (called carousel kitchen brunch on their menu, basically you pay one price per person and order as many of the small plates as you want)
  • Vibe: Casual
  • Price: Expensive, the carousel brunch is $20 per person not counting drinks
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Bella’s Brunch Potatoes, Salmon with honey-lime glaze
  • Unique Offering: If you are indecisive when it comes to your meal, this is the place for you. You can order as many small plates as you want to try everything for one price.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Not very accommodating, no items on the menu are vegan and none mentioned are gluten free, for dairy free you can put together a few items!
  • Insider Tip: Try one of the specialty lattes, they are always unique and delicious!

Jaclyn’s Kitchen

Jaclyn’s Kitchen short stack
  • Type of food: Classic Southern Comfort Food
  • Vibe: Very Casual
  • Price: Affordable to mid-range, main dishes range from $5-$12
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Andouille Omelet, Open Faced Biscuit, Pancakes
  • Unique Offering: This is the type of spot where you truly feel like home, if you talk to patrons and read the reviews you will see one common thread, the hospitality and wonderful nature of the owner, Jaclyn, who truly makes you feel like home.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Accommodating, they mention gluten free options on the menu which is always a good sign for me for accommodations. You will have a tough time finding vegan options by nature of the cuisine but dairy free should be easy to accommodate.
  • Insider Tip: The location is out by Beaver Lake so this is a great spot to stop at after visiting the lake or if you are in Downtown Rogers!

Reverie Coffee & Tea

Reverie Coffee and Tea featuring a Doughp! Breakfast Sandwich and Onyx Coffee Lab Coffee
  • Type of food: Coffee shop with tons of local food options
  • Vibe: Casual
  • Price: Mid-Range, depending on the item most woudl be under $10
  • Top Menu Recommendations: Snack Lab Breakfast Burritos, Red Barn Donuts, Doughp! Pastries
  • Unique Offering: If you are looking to support local, this is the place to do it, they source everything locally from the coffee and tea to pastries, macarons, snack plates, mini pies, chocolate and so much more! They have 18 local suppliers in the regular rotation.
  • Food allergy/sensitivity accommodations: Likely accommodating, they carry Snack Lab items which are extremely accommodating for all food sensitivities and allergies along with Olly Makes Bakery which are completely gluten free. They don’t have all items in every day though, this schedule is helpful to see what they have each day.
  • Insider Tip: This is another spot that is close to downtown and on the way to/from the lake so stop by when you can!
